Mi Tierra was founded by Jesus “Don Chuy” Toledo and opened at this location in 2001. Don Chuy immigrated from Mexico in 1957 and is a US Army veteran who has been in the food trade business for decades with hobbies that have included flying, skydiving, and dancing. Mi Tierra combines his love of cooking and experimenting with food with recipes taught to him by his mother. Together with his grandson, Joshua, a culinary arts graduate - they develop special featured dishes and our newly added Vegan Menu.
